DESCRIPTION
ACTECH – ACTFLEX 988 CWP is a TWO-PART WEIGHED FLEXIBLE CEMENTITIOUS MODIFIED ACRYLIC POLYMER MEMBRANE.
To be used as an:
- Under tile anti-efflorescence membrane over a below-screed waterproofing system such as
ACTECH – ACTFLEX 929 SPU or ACTFLEX 906 WPU.
- Flexible waterproofing coating against positive and negative hydrostatic pressure for above ground concrete water and detention tanks.
- Waterproofing the external side of below grade retaining walls and lift shafts.
- Waterproofing the external side of PVC panels and joins.
- Preventing rising damp.
- Preventing water ingress to cement screed under tile areas.

STANDARD COLOUR: khaki green.
PACKAGING: 20kg kits and 10kg Kits.
Consisting of 2 weighed parts per coat.
Part A liquid and Part B Powder (1:1.5).

- Reaches sufficient cure in 72 hours @ 25°C 50% RH after final coat, allowing for fast tiling.

Application
ACTECH AT-988-CWP is designed to be used in conjunction with a below screed waterproofing system such as AT-929 SPU or AT-906 WPU.
Once the waterproofing system is applied to the substrate and has been allowed to cure, a cement screed is then laid to fall. Allow screed to dry for a minimum of 48 hours (in an aerated room) and then apply the AT-988 CWP.
As an anti-efflorescent membrane over cement screeds to internal wet areas that are to be covered by tiling system laid on screeds to fall to AS 3958.1.2 such as bathrooms, laundries etc.
As an anti-efflorescent membrane to external balconies, patios and podium levels that are to be covered by tiling on screeds to fall to AS 3958.1.
As a hydrostatic moisture barrier to the negative side such as basements, detention tanks etc.
