Shower Leak Repairs

Shower leaks can occur if waterproofing fails or if tiles have not been applied correctly.

If leak is severe, removing tiles, existing waterproofing and re-applying new waterproofing may be necessary.

However, most shower leaks are minimal and can be sealed with ACTFLEX 400 which is an above tile clear waterproofing seal.

Prior to applying ACTFLEX 400, follow this process:

Shower must be clean and dry and not used the night before.
Inspect tiles for any cracks in grout.
If cracks are present, remove existing cracked grout and reapply new tile grout and allow to dry.
When shower is dry and tiles and grout have been fixed, apply your ACTFLEX 400 and allow to dry.
