ACTFLEX 500 NP PRIMER is a solvent-free primer uniquely formulated to enhance adhesion on metals, non-porous, dense and smooth substrates. Ideal for vertical and horizontal applications, providing high adhesion without etching or solvents. Perfectly suited for the application of FORSPEC membrane coatings, adhesives and mortars over challenging substrates.

    Compatibility

    500 NP is the adhesion-promoting primer for dense, smooth, and non-porous substrates - metals, glass, glazed tiles, PVC, and existing coatings. Used where standard primers can't bite into the substrate surface.

  • Coverage and cure?
    Performance

    Coverage is 6-10 m² per litre depending on substrate porosity. Touch-dry and ready for membrane in 30-45 minutes at 23°C/50% RH. The fast cure makes it productive for retrofit work over existing surfaces.

  • What's the application thickness?
    Installation

    Apply at 0.2mm DFT in a single thin coat. Ready-to-use - no mixing required. The blue colour provides visual verification that all surfaces have been primed before membrane application.

  • Service temperature range?
    Compatibility

    Service temperature -10°C to +65°C once cured. Suitable for most building applications including external balconies and roof areas where temperature cycling is normal.
