ACTFLEX EP 250 is a two-part epoxy polyamide coating that provides effective protection against water infiltration, rising damp, efflorescence, and hydrostatic pressure. Approved for use with potable water, it meets AS4020:2005 and SS375-2001 standards. Suitable for concrete, masonry, and cementitious surfaces, it acts as a primer, sealer, and damp-proofing barrier. It also supports moisture-sensitive coatings and serves as a hydrostatic barrier for negative side surfaces. Non-flammable, low Odor, and compatible with green concrete, it enhances adhesion and structural integrity.

Correct application makes all the difference.
Not classified as a trafficable membrane. Not UV resistant — must not be exposed to UV light. Ceases to cure below 10°C; curing is also adversely affected above 85% relative humidity. Confined areas require ventilation during the curing cycle. Tiling must commence within 5 days of cure; sand binding of the final wet coat required.

EP 250 is a 2-part water-based epoxy polyamide used as both a primer/sealer and a hydrostatic damp-proof barrier. Approved for potable water tanks, basements, tunnels, and negative-side waterproofing on concrete and masonry substrates.
EP 250 withstands hydrostatic pressure up to 250 kPa - equivalent to 25 metres of water head. Apply two coats at 150 microns DFT each (300 microns wet film thickness total) for full hydrostatic performance.
Coverage is 1.5 m² per litre for two coats. Two-part mix with pot life of 2 hours at 25°C (1 hour at 35°C). Touch-dry in 4 hours, recoat 4 hours to 5 days, full cure 7 days.
EP 250 bonds to concrete (old, new, or green), masonry, and cementitious substrates. The water-based chemistry penetrates damp surfaces - useful for retrofit waterproofing where the structure can't be fully dried.
