ARDEX A 46 is a rapid hardening, rapid drying, slump-free cement mortar for external repairs to concrete floors, walls and stairs. Mix it with water, trowel it in and it sets in 15 to 20 minutes. Foot traffic after 2 to 3 hours at 20°C, floorcoverings after 24 hours.

- Repairing and resurfacing concrete stair treads, risers and subfloors
- Filling and patching cracks in walls, ceilings and around window and door frames

Coverage
Approximately 1.4 kg of powder per mm per m². A 20 kg bag does about 14 m² at 1mm, 7 m² at 2mm or 2.8 m² at 5mm.
Not for
Heavy duty areas such as heavy vehicles or heavily trafficked areas, subfloor temperatures below 10°C or above 30°C, or coating before 2 days at 5mm and up to 10 days at 30mm.

Suitable for foot traffic and light duty, soft wheeled vehicle traffic only. Do not use for heavy duty areas such as areas subjected to heavy vehicles, or heavily trafficked areas. Subfloor temperatures must be a minimum of 10C and a maximum of 30C. Do not overwater; if the mix initially appears dry, continue mixing for a full 2 - 3 minutes rather than adding more water. Exterior installations must be protected from direct sunlight and draughts which could lead to accelerated drying of the surface. Hazardous chemical: may cause cancer, causes serious eye damage and skin irritation, may cause an allergic skin reaction and may cause respiratory irritation. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection and face protection, avoid breathing dust and ensure adequate ventilation during mixing and application.
