Technical overview
Key applications
- Waterproofing internal wet areas such as showers and bathrooms
- Directly under adhered tiled applications
- Directly under screed applications
- Wall waterproofing 1800mm above finished floor height or 50mm above the shower rose
- Floors with electric underfloor heating encapsulated in an ARDEX screed or levelling compound
- Transitions to ARDEX WPM 002, ARDEX WPM 155 Rapid Plus and ARDEX WPM 130 Builders Express
Surface suitability
- Screed
- Concrete (new concrete cured for a minimum of 28 days)
- Masonry
- Plywood
- CFC sheet
- Paper-faced plasterboard
- Light weight fibre cement tongue and groove internal flooring sheets (refer to the ARDEX Technical Bulletin or ARDEX Technical Services)
- Electric underfloor heating (wires encapsulated with an appropriate ARDEX screed or levelling compound under the membrane)
The application of ARDEX WPM 750 must be carried out by an ARDEX Accredited Applicator. The membrane is not suitable as a trafficable surface or to be left UV exposed for long periods of time. Do not apply any ARDEX engineered screeds directly to ARDEX WPM 750. Do not apply ARDEX CA 750 over any area that will later be heat welded to another sheet or flashing, as glued laps and seams cannot be welded. Do not lay reinforcing mesh directly onto the membrane, it must be installed between the screed layers. It is the responsibility of the main building contractor to make all sub-trades aware the membrane has been installed and to protect it from damage. Rolls must be stored horizontally, out of direct sunlight, away from sources of puncture and physical damage, and away from ignition sources and open flame.
