1. General
This Shipping & Delivery Policy forms part of our Terms of Trade and applies to all orders placed with The Waterproofing Shop Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
We use a combination of trusted freight partners including Transdirect, Mainfreight, and other carriers for the distribution of waterproofing and construction materials across Australia.
2. Shipping Coverage
We currently ship orders Australia-wide only.
We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, Parcel Lockers, or international destinations due to product weight, handling, and hazardous-material restrictions.
3. Freight Charges

Freight is calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and delivery location of the order.

Quoted freight charges are estimates only until confirmed at dispatch.

Should a discrepancy arise between quoted and actual freight costs, we will contact you for approval prior to shipment.

If revised freight is not accepted, the order may be cancelled, and a full refund issued.
All freight charges are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
4. Handling & Dispatch

Orders are processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days of payment clearance (subject to stock availability).

Orders received after 2:00 PM or on weekends/public holidays will be processed the next business day.

A tracking number will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
Where split deliveries are required, we reserve the right to dispatch items from multiple warehouses or suppliers at no additional cost to the customer unless otherwise agreed.
5. Estimated Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times are indicative only and may vary due to courier capacity, public holidays, extreme weather, or transport delays.
6. Large & Palletised Freight
Orders containing bulk, heavy, or palletised items (e.g., drums, adhesives, membranes, screeds) may require:

Tail-lift truck access,

Forklift unloading at delivery site, or

Delivery to a commercial address capable of receiving pallets.
If your site cannot accommodate these requirements, contact us before dispatch to arrange alternative delivery options.
7. Delivery Acceptance & Missed Deliveries

The customer (or authorised receiver) must be present to accept delivery during business hours.

If no one is available, redelivery fees may apply.

Customers must ensure the delivery address provided is complete and correct. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect address details.
Once goods have been delivered and signed for, risk and responsibility transfer to the customer as per our Terms of Trade.
8. Damaged or Missing Goods

All goods must be inspected immediately upon receipt.

Claims for damage, short delivery, or missing items must be made within 48 hours of delivery by emailing sales@thewaterproofingshop.com.au with clear photos and the order number.

Claims made after this period may not be accepted.
If damage is confirmed, we will arrange replacement or credit in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.
9. Force Majeure & Delays Beyond Control
The Waterproofing Shop shall not be liable for delays or failure to deliver caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to industrial action, weather events, transport disruption, supplier delay, or natural disasters.
In such cases, we will notify the customer as soon as practicable and take reasonable steps to complete delivery.
10. Ownership & Risk
Ownership of goods passes to the customer upon full payment, but risk transfers upon delivery (as per our Terms of Trade, Clause 6). We recommend ensuring goods are protected and stored correctly upon receipt.
