ACTFLEX 400 CLEAR Temporary Leak Repair Kit For Leaking Bathrooms & Balconies

One clear epoxy for floor coatings, metallic pours, screeds and casting. Self-priming, zero shrinkage, 30 L kit.
ACTFLEX CRYSTAL BOND is a two-part, crystal-clear epoxy resin for decorative floor work. One resin does the primer coat, the clear or pigmented coating, the terrazzo binder, the screed binder and the casting matrix. Self-priming, so no separate primer to buy.
Where to use it
Why waterproofers buy it
Coverage
30 L kit as primer: 120 to 200 m² at 150 to 250 microns DFT.
30 L kit as coating: approximately 30 m² at 1.0 mm DFT.
Not for
Waterproofing (not a membrane), bituminous substrates, flexible membranes, poorly bonded coatings, substrate moisture over 4%, rising damp or negative hydrostatic pressure, below 10°C or above 35°C, pours over 4 mm, screed layers over 15 mm. May amber under prolonged UV.
All times at 25°C and 50% RH. Manufacturer R&D typical values.

Correct application makes all the difference.
Not a waterproofing membrane. Apply only between 10C and 35C with relative humidity below 80%, with the surface a minimum of 3C above the dew point. Substrate moisture content must not exceed 4%, and the product must not be applied where condensation, rising damp or negative hydrostatic pressure is present. Not suitable over bituminous substrates, flexible membranes or poorly bonded coatings. Maximum 4 mm thickness per pour for decorative and metallic systems and maximum 15 mm per layer in screed applications. Dilution is not permitted and kits must not be split. Slight colour variation or ambering may occur under prolonged UV exposure. Do not apply in direct sunlight or under radiant heat. Protect finished work from dust, moisture and vibration for a minimum of 24 hours and do not expose to chemical spill or immersion before full mechanical cure at 7 days. Part B is a Class 8 corrosive liquid, UN 2735, Poisons Schedule S5.
