Apply one thin even coat by brush, felt or foam applicator at 8-12 m2/L on dense substrates and 4-8 m2/L on porous substratesConfirm the substrate is clean, dry and free from dust, dirt, grease, oil, wax, release agents and all other contaminants
Where required, clean the surface with a suitable solvent and allow it to dry fully before priming
Improve adhesion by mechanical pre-treatment - scuffing, abrading or activation - before the primer is applied
Confirm the substrate is completely dry with no water residue or persistent dampness
Conduct a small patch test on the actual substrate to confirm adhesion and material compatibility before proceeding
Seek manufacturer advice and conduct tests before use on materials prone to stress cracking
Vacuum or blow clean to remove all fine dust immediately before priming
Stir or shake the container well before use
Apply a thin, covering coat using a brush, felt or foam applicator, ensuring adequate coverage of the full bonding area
Apply ONCE ONLY - a single thin film is the specification; multiple coats do not improve adhesion
Seal the container tightly immediately after each use - the product is moisture-reactive
Allow the primer to dry completely before applying ACTFLEX 75FC, ACTFLEX 929 SL or the specified solvent-based product
Apply the sealant, membrane or adhesive within the open time of the primer
