Product details
Allproof leak control flanges connect the waterproof membrane system to the plumbing drainage system. Made from durable PVC with a large surface area for applying membrane, they are compatible with all leading Australian brands and the Australian building standards. A construction cap is supplied to protect the outlet during the build.
Installation
Clean the riser, apply plumbers primer then solvent glue, and seat the flange squarely on the pipe. Bond the membrane across the collar. On the TILERITE, lay the membrane over the body, fit the clamp ring and tighten the three stainless screws, then set the grate height on the threaded spigot.

The Leak Control 50mm connects to 50, 65, 80 and 100mm PVC pipe, so a single part covers most of what you meet on site instead of carrying four.

Large bonding surface for a proper key
A wide, flat collar gives the membrane real surface area to grab, which is exactly where cheap flanges let go. More bonding area, fewer callbacks at the waste.
Locating lugs drain moisture through the DWV
The lugs let trapped moisture escape into the drainage system rather than sitting under the tile bed. It is a small detail that keeps the subfloor dry long after handover.
TILERITE clamps sheet and vinyl membranes down hard
Threaded clamp ring and three stainless screws mechanically fix the membrane, with a height-adjustable grate on a cyclone spigot and a construction cap in the box. The spec answer for clamp-down systems.

Which flange suits my membrane?
If you are using a liquid applied membrane, use a Leak Control flange - the membrane bonds straight onto the collar. If you are using a sheet or vinyl membrane, use the TILERITE, which mechanically clamps the membrane with a threaded ring and three stainless screws. The flange finder above will confirm it in three taps.

Does the 50mm flange only fit 50mm pipe?
No. The Leak Control 50mm connects to 50, 65, 80 and 100mm PVC pipe sizes, so one part covers most risers you will meet on site.

What is the construction cap for?
It protects the outlet during the build so screed, debris and site rubbish do not end up in the drainage system. Leave it in until you are ready to fit the grate or waste.

What do the locating lugs do?
They create a path for trapped moisture to escape into the DWV drainage system rather than sitting under the tile bed. It keeps the subfloor drier over the life of the building.

Can I adjust the TILERITE grate height?
Yes. The grate sits on a threaded cyclone spigot so you can set it to the finished floor level, which is what makes it suit vinyl and sheet installs where the build-up varies.
