Seal leaks, keep the tiles
ACTFLEX 400 CLEAR is designed as a temporary leak-stopping solution for tiled surfaces. Applied directly over existing tiles, it forms a tough, flexible, UV-resistant barrier — no demolition, no re-tiling, no downtime.
It's a fast and effective way to seal leaks while preserving the appearance of the surface underneath.
How to apply it
Fix a leaking tiled area in 7 steps- Ensure the surface is dry
Allow the surface to completely dry and be free from moisture.
- Remove silicone
If present, remove any silicone from corners and penetrations.
- Apply clear MS sealant
Use a clear MS sealant like Soudal T-Rex Crystal on all corners and any missing grout joints.
- Dilute ACTFLEX 400
Dilute ACTFLEX 400 with 50% water.
- Apply thin coats
Apply three thin coats of the diluted ACTFLEX 400 with a micro-fibre roller kit, allowing 4 hours between coats.
- Form the clear barrier
Allow the coats to dry to form a clear waterproofing barrier.
- Enjoy leak-free surfaces
Once dry, enjoy leak-free balconies or bathrooms for years to come.

Critical: curing time
Allow the coating to dry for 3–5 days with no rain or moisture exposure. No standing water should be present during curing — if water ponds, the coating may turn cloudy. Once the water evaporates, it returns to a clear finish.
