ACTFLEX Anti Slip Sand

Anti Slip Sand is a fine silica broadcast aggregate that creates non-slip surfaces on freshly applied epoxy and waterproof coatings. Broadcast into wet coatings, the silica bonds during cure and provides permanent traction.

Broadcast the sand manually or with a sprayer onto the wet final coat of waterproofing or epoxy floor. The sand bonds as the coating cures. After cure, sweep off the excess sand and topcoat with a clear sealer if needed.

Approximately 1mm fine silica particles. Multiple pack sizes available. The fine particle size creates traction without aggressive abrasion - safe for bare feet on pool decks while providing slip resistance.

Epoxy floor coatings (Crystal Coat finishes), waterproofing top coats (ATC, ULTRA FC), ramps, balconies, plant rooms, pool decks - any application where slip resistance is required. Common in commercial and residential balcony specs.

The fine silica creates a slight textured matte appearance. For natural-looking decorative finishes, broadcast at light density. For maximum slip resistance, broadcast at full coverage so the entire surface has sand on it.
