Direct to concrete polyaspartic floor coating. 90% solids, hard through in 3.5 hours, full cure in 48.
ACTFLEX ULTRA SHIELD is a two-component elastomeric polyaspartic floor coating at 90% solids. It goes straight onto prepared concrete, so a garage or warehouse floor can be coated and handed back inside a single shift. Roll it as a solid colour or broadcast flake into it.
Where to use it
Why waterproofers buy it
Coverage
6 to 8 m²/L per coat.
20 L pack: approximately 120 to 160 m² per coat.
40 L pack: approximately 240 to 320 m² per coat.
Flake systems use much more clear coat.
Not for
Slip-rated floors without an anti-slip broadcast (not slip-resistant as supplied), below 10°C or above 30°C, substrates over the moisture limit without two coats of ACTFLEX EP250, designed movement joints, structural repair or levelling. Remove old paint and resin coatings first. Mix full kits only.
All times at 25°C and 50% RH.

Correct application makes all the difference.
Two-component product - mix full kits only and observe the 30-minute pot life; do not part-mix and never re-temper. Not slip-resistant as supplied - an anti-slip broadcast is required to achieve a designed slip rating. Do not apply below 10C or above 30C. Do not apply over substrates exceeding the stated moisture limit - apply ACTFLEX EP250 as a two-coat moisture-control system where the limit is exceeded. Do not dilute unless approved in writing by an authorised FORSPEC representative. Not a structural repair product - cracks and spalling must be reinstated before coating. Bridges hairline cracks only; it does not accommodate designed movement joints, which must be carried through the coating. All previous paint and resin coatings must be completely removed before application. Not a levelling product - the finished surface follows the prepared substrate profile. Both components are classified hazardous: Part A may cause genetic defects and may cause cancer, and Part B is a flammable liquid and vapour that is harmful if inhaled and may cause allergy or asthma symptoms or breathing difficulties if inhaled. Read both Safety Data Sheets before use.
