Forspec publishes no product-specific Technical Data Sheet, test report or certificate for the PREBAR prefabricated fittings: the Technical Data Sheet link on the Forspec product page returns the 4-page PREBAR Prefabricated Fittings range brochure. No performance figure, standard or classification is claimed for this fitting. The BS 2782 test results published for PREBAR PVC WATERSTOP belong to the waterstop roll and have not been carried across.

Forspec publishes no limitations, safety data or handling instructions for the prefabricated fittings themselves. Install as part of a PREBAR PVC Waterstop system and apply the limitations in the PREBAR PVC WATERSTOP Technical Data Sheet: the fitting must be fully encased in concrete on both sides with the design cover maintained, centred and correctly aligned in the joint, and must not be installed over dirty, wet or contaminated surfaces. Do not fold, kink or crease it. All joins must be fully heat welded; taped, glued or overlapped joins are not acceptable. Do not overheat during welding, as PVC degrades above the stated welding range. Do not store above 40C or in direct sunlight. Joint design, profile selection and hydrostatic duty are the design responsibility of the project engineer.
