Zada Cream is a High-Performance polymer modified, cement-based tile adhesive designed for internal and external applications on both walls and floors. Can be used for ceramic, porcelain, vitrified tiles and mosaics. Zada Cream can be used for tiling over existing tiles as long as the existing tiles have been properly prepared in accordance with Zada Australia using non-porous primer.

ZadaCream is a flexible, cement-based tile adhesive specifically designed for premium stone, marble and porcelain tiles ZadaCream has superior non-slump properties making it ideal for large format tile and stone applications internally and externally.

ZadaCream is specifically designed for tile on tile applications, direct stick to approved acoustic sound rubber, swimming pools and spas. ZadaCream has an extended open time, is non slump and flexible. Mix with water to achieve a mortar suitable for internal and external use in residential and commercial applications.

How to Use

Apply with a steel notched trowel onto the substrate, no more than 1-2m2 at a time, using a 10mm notch for tiles up to 300 x 300mm and a 12mm notch with the back of each tile buttered for tiles greater than 400 x 400mmConfirm the surface is clean, dry, firm and free of dust, oil, grease, wax and curing compounds
Confirm the substrate is installed according to the relevant standards and manufacturer recommendations
Prime all porous surfaces with Zada Prime
Prime non-porous surfaces such as existing tiles with a non-porous primer
Where structural particle board is used, confirm it is a minimum of 19mm thick and fixed as per the manufacturer instructions, sand with 30 grit sandpaper, apply a non-porous primer and allow it to cure for 2 to 3 hours before tiling
Mix 5.5 to 6 litres of clean water to 20kg of ZadaCream with a paddle mixer until a creamy consistency is achieved and the powder is free of lumps
Allow the mixture to stand for 1 minute, remix, then use the adhesive
For immersed situations, fortify ZadaCream using 1 part Bond+Prime to 4 parts water
Apply the adhesive with a steel notched trowel onto the substrate, no more than 1-2m2 at a time
Use a 10mm notch trowel for tiles up to 300 x 300mm and a 12mm notch trowel for tiles greater than 400 x 400mm, buttering the back of each tile
Ensure the back of each tile is clean and free from dust and other contaminants
Press the tiles firmly into the adhesive in an up and down motion across the direction of the adhesive beads, before the adhesive skins
Lift a tile every so often to check that 80 to 100% coverage is achieved on the back of the tile
Do not spot fix, and remove all adhesive residue from the tile and joint while the adhesive is still wet
Install movement joints in accordance with AS3958.1-2007, a minimum of 6mm wide and no wider than 10mm, every 4.5 metres externally and every 6 metres internally
Fill movement joints with a suitable elastomeric sealant
Protect the tiling from other trades and weather and allow no traffic until all tiling and grouting is completed
Grout once the tile adhesive is completely cured, 24 hours
