ACTFLEX CRYSTAL COAT is a two-part, solvent-free cycloaliphatic epoxy floor coating for heavy-duty, decorative and commercial floors. It goes on concrete, metal and timber from 0.2 mm to 1 mm. Fill it with sand for a repair mortar, add coloured oxides for a non-slip floor, or add FORSPEC Metallic Pigments for a decorative finish.

Surface suitability
- Concrete (mechanically ground or shot blasted to a minimum CSP 2-3, moisture content below 4%, no acid etching)
- Metal (cleaned, degreased and abraded, then primed with an appropriate ACTFLEX primer)
- Timber (cleaned, degreased and abraded, then primed with an appropriate ACTFLEX primer)
Not UV stable, so external applications require a UV-resistant topcoat. Not suitable for application below 10C as curing will be significantly slowed; the application temperature range is 10-30C. Moisture sensitive during curing, so avoid water exposure within the first 24 hours. Substrate moisture content must be checked and a moisture barrier primer, ACTFLEX EP 250 in two coats, applied where it is above 4.5%. Strict mixing ratios must be followed to prevent improper curing and performance issues. Must be mixed and applied within its pot life. Recoating beyond 24 hours requires light mechanical sanding for adhesion. Not recommended for flexible substrates or areas with excessive substrate movement. Poor adhesion may occur on contaminated or improperly prepared substrates. Hazardous, may cause skin and eye irritation, and uncured product is combustible, so keep all sources of ignition away.
