What are spike shoes used for?
CompatibilitySpike Shoes strap over your work boots and allow you to walk on wet self-levelling compounds, epoxy floor coatings, and decorative flake systems during application without leaving marks or impressions in the finished surface.

How do I wear them?
InstallationStrap the shoes over your normal work boots using the buckle system. Walk slowly and deliberately - the long spikes leave only small pin holes that self-heal in liquid-applied flooring as the material flows back together.

Are they reusable?
PerformanceYes. Clean any cured material off the spikes after use and store dry. Replace if spikes bend or break - damaged spikes can scratch or tear the wet coating.

Which products are they used with?
CompatibilityUsed with self-levelling cementitious compounds (Level X Pro), epoxy floor systems (Crystal Coat), polyaspartic top coats (Ultra Shield), and decorative flake systems (FLAKE X) during the application window.

How long do the spike marks take to heal?
PerformanceOn self-levelling compounds, spike marks heal in seconds while the material is still flowing. On thicker epoxy systems, you may need to back-roll lightly after walking - check the product TDS for the working window.
