Remove all salt and efflorescence - the membrane is an anti-efflorescence barrier only over a correctly prepared substrate
Allow newly poured concrete a minimum of 28 days cure, renders a minimum of 7 days, and screeds 48 hours to 5 days depending on thickness and conditions
Repair concrete damage from 2 mm to 30 mm with FORBUILD 100 or FORCRETE 100 and treat spalling concrete with the FORSPEC repair range including PROBOND 1100
Confirm the surface is damp at most, cured and surface-dry, and free of standing water and active leakage
Grade the surface with positive falls to outlets - internal wet areas minimum 1:80 and maximum 1:50, external areas minimum 1:100
Treat static cracks under 2.0 mm by priming 200 mm across and along the crack, placing ACTFLEX SA TAPE centrally and encapsulating with two coats
Treat static cracks over 2.0 mm by grinding out a minimum 6 mm by 6 mm reglet, filling with ACTFLEX MS PRO tooled flush, covering with a bond-breaker tape and applying two coats after 1 to 2 hours
Prime with one coat of ACTFLEX EP250 on prepared concrete and masonry, two coats where substrate moisture exceeds the stated thresholds; abraded PVC panels need no primer
Detail all drains, penetrations, floor/wall and wall/wall junctions and joints, either with FORSPEC reinforcement tape lapped a minimum of 50 mm or with ACTFLEX MS PRO fillets, 12 mm internally and 15 mm by 15 mm externally
Pre-mix Part A alone, then add Part B gradually at 1 to 1.2 by weight, mixing mechanically to a smooth lump-free consistency
Allow the mix to stand for 3 to 4 minutes, then re-mix lightly for 1 minute before applying

Recoat after 4 to 6 hours at 25C and 50% RH, or a minimum of 24 hours in confined underground areas

Verify a continuous pinhole-free film over every junction, fillet and tape, with wet film gauge readings against the 0.92 mm target
Complete all coats and the tiling, screeding or covering within 5 days of the final coat
Flood test from 48 hours after the final coat, tile directly to the membrane with ACTFLEX BIOSET from 6 to 8 hours, or screed from 24 hours
