  • What is SCREED X used for?
    Compatibility

    SCREED X is a pre-blended structural screed for bonded, unbonded, and floating floors. The pre-blend ensures consistent ratios and saves the contractor having to source and measure their own sand. Suitable for commercial and domestic projects.

  • What's the strength rating?
    Performance

    SCREED X reaches 30 MPa at 28 days - matching FORCEM's strength rating in a pre-blended format. Reaches less than 4% residual moisture in 24 hours, allowing next-day waterproofing membrane application.

  • Coverage and curing schedule?
    Installation

    Coverage is 16-18 kg per m² per cm of thickness. Walkable in 2-3 hours, tile-ready in 12 hours, membrane-ready in 24 hours. One-hour extended working time gives ample time to finish large pours.

  • What thickness can I apply?
    Compatibility

    Bonded screeds minimum 10mm, unbonded minimum 40mm, floating minimum 45mm. The substrate must have pull strength of at least 1.5 MPa for bonded application. Use a slurry coat plus ACTFLEX 300 primer for improved bond.

  • Compatible with underfloor heating?
    Performance

    Yes. SCREED X is fully compatible with underfloor heating systems. The MineralCore technology delivers controlled shrinkage, minimising the risk of cracking around heating elements.
