SCREED-X is a powder screed mix designed for high-flow self-levelling on floors over waterproofing membranes. Adds 3mm in one pour, sets in 3 hours at 20°C and develops fast strength for foot traffic.

Surface suitability
- Concrete (structurally sound, mechanically profiled by diamond grinding or shot-blasting, minimum 1.5 MPa tensile pull strength)
- Metal (non-porous, primed with ACTFLEX 300 or ACTFLEX SUPERPRIME 008)
- PVC (non-porous, primed with ACTFLEX 300 or ACTFLEX SUPERPRIME 008)
- Cured, flood-tested FORSPEC membranes (unbonded over a 200-micron slip sheet, 35 mm minimum)
- Insulation panels and acoustic layers (floating screed, minimum 45 mm)
Apply between 5C and 30C ambient and substrate, and protect from frost, rain and rapid drying during placement and early cure. Substrates must achieve a tensile pull strength of at least 1.5 MPa. Unbonded screeds are minimum 40 mm per AS 3958.1; the engineered 35 mm minimum applies only over FORSPEC membranes installed per the TDS with mesh reinforcement and a 200-micron slip sheet, and below 35 mm only with written FORSPEC approval. Never exceed the water demand of 1.2-1.4 L per bag and never remix or re-temper stiffened mortar. Do not use free-fall drum mixers. Moisture-sensitive coverings only once residual moisture is below the covering manufacturer's limit, measured with a carbide hygrometer. Movement, structural and expansion joints must be carried through the full screed and finish. Do not use material from damaged or moisture-affected bags. The product contains portland cement and may contain respirable crystalline silica, and the wet mix is alkaline and can cause burns to skin and eyes: wear a P2 dust respirator, chemical-resistant gloves, protective eyewear and covering clothing, and mix in ventilated conditions.
