ACTFLEX HYDROPLUG is a rapid-setting, non-shrink cementitious compound designed to instantly stop active water leaks under pressure. Provides a waterproof seal for leaks in concrete and masonry — ideal for cracks, holes and penetrations subject to continuous water ingress. Initial set in 1–3 minutes; cures to mechanical strength comparable to concrete. Non-corrosive (safe with steel reinforcement), non-toxic and odour-free.

    HYDROPLUG instantly stops active water leaks under pressure in concrete and masonry - basements, water tanks, tunnels, lift shafts, foundations. Used when water is actively flowing and you need to stop the leak immediately to apply permanent waterproofing.

  • How fast does it set?
    Performance

    HYDROPLUG sets in 1-2 minutes initial set, fully waterproof in 5-10 minutes. Full strength cure in 24 hours. Once cured, it achieves greater than 40 MPa compressive strength at 28 days - structural-grade repair.

  • How is it applied to an active leak?
    Installation

    Mix the powder with water to a stiff putty consistency, then press firmly into the leak with gloved hands and hold for 30-60 seconds until the material sets and the water flow stops. Apply in 2-50mm thick layers.

  • Is it safe for potable water?
    Compatibility

    Yes. HYDROPLUG is non-toxic and approved for potable water contact - safe for drinking water tank repairs. Non-corrosive to rebar, sandable after cure, and won't shrink as it sets.

  • Service temperature range?
    Compliance

    Service temperature -20°C to +80°C once cured. Bond strength to concrete exceeds 2.0 MPa, often pulling out parent concrete in failure tests - structural-grade plug for serious leak situations.
