Technical overview

ACTFLEX MS PRO is a one-component, moisture-curing modified polyurethane (MS Polymer) joint sealant for construction and waterproofing applications. Solvent-free and isocyanate-free, with excellent adhesion to most construction substrates and no primer required. Tack-free in 15 minutes at 25°C; full cure 24–48 hours. Compliant with ASTM C920 Class 50 and ISO 11600.

Key applications

  • Joint fillets at wall/floor and wall/wall junctions (12mm internal, 15×15mm external)
  • Sealing around drains, penetrations & pipe outlets prior to membrane application
  • Static crack repair >2mm in concrete & masonry (chased to 6×6mm minimum)
  • Bond breaker bead for water-retaining structures & swimming pools
  • Joint sealing in expansion & movement joints (5–35mm width)
  • PVC panel joint treatment under cementitious waterproofing systems

Joint design must follow a 2:1 width-to-depth ratio. Joint width range 5–35mm — exceeding this compromises sealant performance. For three-sided adhesion control in crack repair, use a backer rod or self-adhesive bond breaker tape before applying.
