Butyl detailing tape. Stick, roll, membrane straight over. No cure time.
ACTFLEX SA TAPE is a self-adhesive butyl sealing tape with a white polypropylene fleece face for FORSPEC liquid membranes. The butyl self-seals around fasteners and penetrations. The fleece gives the membrane a key.
What it's for
- Wall to floor and wall to wall junctions before the membrane goes on
- Pipe penetrations, taps, outlets and floor waste flanges
- Shower recesses, balconies and planter boxes
Why waterproofers buy it
- Bonds on pressure rolling. No cure period, no waiting to overcoat
- Elongation over 300%, peel adhesion 22 N/cm
- Vapour impermeable and weatherproof
- 10 year Forspec product warranty
Specs
Black butyl, 1.0 mm thick, white fleece face. Minimum overlap 50 mm. Install at 0°C to 40°C. Roll size: check current packaging.
