The Forspec Epoxy Mixing Paddle is specifically designed for blending two-component epoxy systems like Crystal Coat, ProBond 1100PS, and Ultra Shield, providing low-shear mixing that avoids air entrainment.
Standard paint mixers create too much air during epoxy mixing, causing pinholes and bubbles in the finished floor. The slow-pitch helical design folds Part A and Part B together without whipping in air.
Use a low-RPM (300-500 rpm) high-torque drill. High-speed cordless drills are NOT recommended - the high RPM creates air entrainment that ruins epoxy clarity and pinhole-free finish.
Yes - the paddle also works well for high-viscosity polyurethane sealants and grouts where smooth blending matters. Avoid using for cementitious products where vigorous agitation is needed.
Wipe excess material off with a rag, then clean residues with epoxy solvent (xylene or MEK) before the epoxy cures. Cured epoxy is virtually impossible to remove without grinding.
