The Forspec Welding Gun Kit FS2300P is a 230V hot air welder set for roof membrane seams: adjustable-temperature gun, spare heating element, and the nozzles, rollers, seam probe and cutting tools to weld, test and trim.

What is the FS2300P Welding Gun Kit for?
CompatibilityThe Forspec FS2300P Welding Gun Kit is a hot-air welding gun used to heat-weld thermoplastic sheet membranes (HDPE, TPO, PVC) at overlap seams, creating a continuous waterproof joint. Used with PREFLEX 3000 and similar membranes.

What temperature does it reach?
PerformanceThe FS2300P delivers temperatures up to ~650°C (1200°F), within the welding range for HDPE and TPO sheet membranes. Variable temperature control lets you match the exact spec of the membrane being welded.

How is it used?
InstallationPosition the overlap, run the welding gun nozzle into the seam at the correct distance and speed, follow immediately with a silicon pressure roller to fuse the layers. Practice on scrap to dial in temperature and speed for your specific membrane.

Which membranes can be welded?
CompatibilitySuitable for PREFLEX 3000 HDPE, ACTFLEX 715-style TPO, ACTFLEX 5000 (some seam types), and other thermoplastic sheet membranes. Not used for self-adhesive bituminous membranes.
