- General roofing
- Plaza decks and terraces
- Retaining walls
- Planter boxes
- Flameless waterproofing of junctions on heat sensitive substrates
Surface suitability
- Concrete (fully cured 28 days, minimum 24 MPa, surface profile ICRI CSP 3 or 4, moisture max 5% by mass)
- Wood (moisture max 16% by volume, no primer)
- Metal and prepainted metal (cleaned with acetone or MEK, smooth, clean and free of oxidised bitumen)
- PVC pipe (sanded with sandpaper, no primer)
- Traditional granulated and sanded bituminous waterproofing membranes (no primer)
- Polyurethane membrane TRAFIK HP (no primer)
- Membranes with HDPE surface, untreated copper and stainless steel (primed with ALSAN 104)
- TPO and EPDM (primed with ALSAN 103)
Concrete must be fully cured (28 days) with a minimum hardness of 24 MPa and prepared to a concrete surface profile (ICRI CSP) of 3 or 4; substrate moisture must not exceed 5% by mass or 16% by volume. Apply only between 5C and 35C substrate or ambient, with atmospheric moisture 80% maximum, and keep the substrate temperature at least 3C above the dew point during application and curing. Maximum overlay time at 23C is 72 hours, after which the surface must be prepared with ALSAN System Cleaning Agent. Membranes with an HDPE surface, untreated copper and stainless steel require ALSAN 104 primer; TPO and EPDM require ALSAN 103. PVC pipe must be sanded and all metal surfaces cleaned with a non-greasy solvent such as acetone or MEK, free of oxidised bitumen. Once opened, the product only has a limited shelf life.

Why trade professionals choose Soprema
Soprema is a French waterproofing manufacturer whose torch applied and liquid applied systems are supplied to the Australian trade. The range stocked here covers Soprasun Plus sheet membranes for roof and balcony work, Colphene 3000 for below ground and retaining wall work, Alsan Flashing liquid detailers for junctions and penetrations, and the Elastocol Stick and AntiRock primers that go underneath them. It is a system led range, so most jobs pull a primer, a membrane and a detailing product from the same brand.
