Technical overview
Key applications
- Indoor wet areas (bathrooms, shower enclosures)
- Tanks, swimming pools, fountains
- SPA and Hammam
- Industrial floors
- Dairy factories, slaughterhouses, food industry
- Terraces and balconies
- Facades and overlaying
- Floors with underfloor heating
- Swimming pools or tanks containing salt or thermal water
- Grouting of tiles and mosaics on kitchen tops in wood
- Prefabricated bathrooms with tiles and mosaics on metal surfaces
- Bonding and grouting over Elastocem, Coverflex or Aquamaster EVO waterproofing
Surface suitability
- Ceramic and porcelain tiles (surface must be non-absorbent and easy to clean)
- Porcelain stoneware, including thin laminated slabs and slabs up to 320x160 cm
- Polished porcelain stoneware (spot test first, micro-porosities can cause staining)
- Natural stone, marble and granite (spot test first to check for absorption of the epoxy resin)
- Terracotta and clinker (not Tuscan terracotta or other porous materials)
- Ceramic and vitreous mosaic
- Recomposed stone made with resin or cement
- Surfaces waterproofed with Elastocem, Coverflex or Aquamaster EVO
- Metal surfaces (prefabricated bathrooms)
Spread the product at temperatures between +10C and +30C, and do not use it if the temperature is forecast to drop below +10C in the following 24 hours. Do not use on damp surfaces or surfaces subject to rising damp. Do not use for joint widths greater than 15 mm. Do not add water, solvents, lime, cement or other foreign materials. The product cannot be used for grouting Tuscan terracotta tiles or other porous materials such as cement curbing, or to grout tanks containing aggressive substances for which only occasional contact is allowed. Spot test polished porcelain stoneware and natural stone first, because micro-porosities and surface roughness can cause staining and make cleaning very difficult. Protect against direct sunlight or strong air currents for the first 12 hours, and wait at least 48-72 hours before covering the surface with breathable materials. Remove excess grout promptly, because once set it can only be removed mechanically. Do not use aggressive detergents during the first 5 days, and do not use bleach for maintenance because the grout may turn yellow. The Spotlight, Gold and Galaxy additives and the metallic finishes have poor resistance to UV rays and must not be used outdoors. Product for professional use.
