HOW TO APPLY ACTFLEX 400 CLEAR

1. Surface Preparation

• Ensure surface is clean, dry, and structurally sound
• Remove loose grout and replace if required
• Repair cracks using suitable sealants (e.g. MS Polymer)
• Ensure moisture content is below 4%

2. Mixing

• Mix at 2 parts ACTFLEX 400 : 1 part water
• Mechanically stir for consistency

3. Application

• Apply using roller, brush, or trowel
• Apply 2–3 coats
• Allow minimum 4 hours between coats
• Apply all coats within 48 hours

4. Curing

• Touch dry: approx. 2 hours
• Waterproof in approx. 3 hours
• Full cure: 5–7 days

SLIP RESISTANT OPTION

For external areas:

• Broadcast silica sand into the first coat
• Remove excess
• Apply additional coats over the top

This improves safety in trafficable zones.

IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS

• Not suitable for areas with ponding water
• Not a solution for rising damp or hydrostatic pressure
• Requires completely dry substrate before application
• Designed as a temporary leak solution (up to 5 years)
