Why waterproofers buy it
- Excellent non-drip and non-sag. Made for overhead and vertical repairs
- 87 MPa compressive strength at 7 days (ASTM D695)
- Bond strength 20.1 MPa at 14 days to hardened concrete (ASTM C882)
- Generally cured in 3 hours at 24°C. Then grind it, paint it or open it to full traffic
- ARDEX state it is compliant to AS/NZS 4020 for potable drinking water

Not for
Cracks subject to movement, or large or deep mass fills. It is for small patch repairs only, because a big mass builds heat and can swell, smoke and crack. Not for vertical crack or spall repair underwater, thinning with solvents, or temperatures outside 5°C to 35°C. It may discolour in UV. Let it fully cure before any flood test.
Times at 24°C.

- Smooth surfaces (mechanically roughened with a wire brush or sand paper before application)
Product may discolour from UV exposure. If overcoating with paint or other architectural coatings, avoid solvent-based coatings, sand before overcoating and trial a small test area first. Do not thin product with solvents as this will prevent product curing. The product is not intended for repairing cracks subject to movement. It is designed for small patch repairs only: a deeper or larger mass repair area will generate excessive heat which can result in swelling, smoking, and possibly cracking. It must be totally cured before any required flood testing. It is heavier than water and is not recommended for vertical crack or spall repair underwater. Apply only where substrate and ambient air temperature are between 5C and 35C. Both components are classified hazardous chemicals and dangerous goods, with Part A on Poisons Schedule S5: harmful if swallowed, causes eye and skin irritation and may cause serious eye damage, may cause an allergic skin reaction, may cause respiratory irritation, suspected of causing cancer, may be corrosive to metals and toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
