Technical overview
Key applications
- Protection against weathering and waterproofing of concrete
- Cementitious renders
- Concrete blocks, natural stone and brick
- Decorative protection of walls and partition walls
- Other vertical elements
- Interior and exterior applications
Surface suitability
- Concrete (clean, structurally sound, washed and dampened with no free water left on the surface)
- Cementitious render (clean, structurally sound, washed and dampened with no free water left on the surface)
- Concrete block (clean, structurally sound, washed and dampened with no free water left on the surface)
- Natural stone (clean, structurally sound, washed and dampened with no free water left on the surface)
- Brick (clean, structurally sound, washed and dampened with no free water left on the surface)
Do not apply at temperatures below 5C or if there is a risk of the temperature dropping below 5C in the following 24 hours. Do not apply if rain is expected in the 4 to 6 hours after application. Avoid applying in areas exposed directly to the sun, because any shade on the surface may cause colour difference. The substrate must be washed and kept damp during application, but no free water may remain on the surface. A dry substrate causes premature loss of the mixing water before the product sets. Where the temperature is above 25C, or conditions are dry or windy, protect the work from wind for the first 6 hours and lightly mist the surface with water evenly to avoid colour difference. Keep the amount of mixing water constant across the job to prevent shade differences. Because of its cementitious base, avoid contact with the eyes and skin and use rubber gloves, safety goggles and a dust mask.

Frequently asked questions
-
What is Max Quick Roll used for?
CompatibilityMax Quick Roll is a single-coat decorative waterproof coating for exterior and interior masonry - prevents rising damp, blistering and peeling paintwork, and weathering on porous substrates like AAC/Hebel, blockwork, brick, render, and stone.
-
Single coat or two coats?
PerformanceDesigned as a single-coat decorative coating, but a second coat (after 12-24 hours) can be applied if the substrate is heavily porous. Coverage 1.0-2.5 kg/m² depending on substrate.
-
How is it applied?
InstallationPre-wet the substrate (no surface water). Mix 25kg powder with 24-28% water (6-7L) to a brushable consistency. Apply by brush, roller, or mortar spray. The white pigment gives a uniform decorative finish.
-
Suits which substrates?
CompatibilityConcrete, render, concrete blocks, AAC/Hebel, brick, and natural stone - any porous masonry surface needing decorative weathering protection. Pressure-washable once cured.
-
Vapour-permeable?
ComplianceYes. Max Quick Roll is vapour-permeable (breathable) - critical for masonry walls where trapped moisture must escape outward. Waterproof against rain but lets the substrate breathe.
Why trade professionals choose Drizoro
Drizoro is a Spanish manufacturer of cement based waterproofing and concrete repair products, supplied to the Australian trade through The Waterproofing Shop. The range on this site covers Maxseal Foundation and Maxseal Flex, along with repair mortars, grouts, joint products and mesh, used on concrete and masonry where water has to be held back rather than simply shed. Choosing between the rigid and the flexible grade is the key decision, and it comes down to the substrate, the direction of the water and how much movement the structure is likely to see.
