How to Use

Brush one or two coats onto rusted surfaces only, 6.0 m2/L over the two coat buildUse a wire brush or abrasive pad to remove loose rust and contaminants from the metal surface
Ensure any remaining rust is securely adhered and the surface is dry and free from dust, grease, oil and other contaminants
Mix thoroughly before application with a wide flat 25mm paddle or a hand mixer with a perforated base
Mix in a circular lifting motion from the bottom of the container for 5 minutes or until fully blended
Wear gloves and safety glasses
Stir the contents thoroughly before and during use
Apply only to rusted surfaces
Use a brush to apply one or two coats
Do not apply in high humidity or when the temperature is below 10C or above 30C
Allow 16 hours to dry to ensure a complete reaction before applying any finishing coats

Technical overview

Rustblock Rust Converter is a water-based, latex polymer rust treatment that halts corrosion by transforming rust into a stable surface suitable for priming and painting.
