Apply with a notched trowel at 3 kg/m2 with an 8 mm trowel for tiles with sides 60 cm or less, and back-butter formats over 60 cm at 5 kg/m2

Technical overview

Litoelastic EVO is a high-performance, white, two-component reactive adhesive for laying floors and walls indoors and outdoors, for any type of ceramic tile, reinforced thin slabs, mosaics, and natural and reconstituted stone, including on non-traditional substrates such as wood, metal and fibreglass. It also suits installations over existing tiles, on heated floors and in swimming pools. Litokol classifies it R2T under EN 12004 and EN 12002 and lists EMICODE EC1PLUS and French A+ indoor air emission classes. No Australian accredited test certificate is held for this product and no AS or AS/NZS classification is published for it. Litokol publishes no separate technical data sheet for it any more; the figures above come from Litokol's own General Catalogue and product page.

Apply only between 10C and 30C. Mixture life is about one hour at 23C, so mix no more than can be laid in that time. Clean equipment and residues with water and a Scotch-Brite pad while the product is still wet; once hardened, only mechanical cleaning will shift it. Store for 24 months in the original packaging and avoid freezing temperatures. For external wall installations where the tiled surface has a significant vertical drop over 3 m and is subject to high tension in expansion joints, Litokol asks that its technical support service be consulted before the installation is specified. Cast-in-place concrete needs a minimum 6 months curing time. No Australian accredited test certificate is held for this product.
