Key applications
- In situ relative humidity readings in structural materials such as concrete flooring and walls
- Ambient relative humidity readings within the building envelope
- Evaluating moisture conditions of wall and cavity structures
- Dew point temperature and grains per pound humidity ratio readings
- Flood and water damage restoration surveys
- Building survey work
Surface suitability
- Concrete flooring and walls (in situ readings)
- Wall and cavity structures
- Ambient air within the building envelope
For use with the Tramex CMEX5, MEX5 and Feedback Datalogger RHTX. Relative humidity range is 0 to 100% RH and temperature range is -20C to 70C, so do not use the probe outside those limits. Accuracy is +/-2.0% RH from 0% to 99% RH at 25C, with drift of less than 0.25% RH per year, so check calibration regularly using the Tramex calibration check salts. The sensor opening is protected by a PTFE film against water and dust. The probe is sold on its own - the meter is not included.

Why trade professionals choose Tramex
Tramex moisture meters are non-destructive instruments for checking whether a concrete slab is dry enough to coat, tile or cover. The range here runs to the CME5 and CMEX5 concrete meters, the RH short probe for readings taken inside the slab, and the calibration plates that let you verify the meter is reading true. Supplied to the Australian trade, with our team available if you need help picking the right meter for the work you do.
