Woven Fabric AT-Mesh 1m is a 1 metre wide roll of alkali-treated fibreglass reinforcement. It covers large areas quickly and efficiently in waterproofing systems, particularly for floor and wall membranes.

Fully encapsulate the mesh and complete the remaining coats to the specified DFT with no mesh left exposed. Press the mesh firmly to full saturation with no wrinkles or air pockets and overlap adjoining mesh by at least 50 mm. Below-ground and underground work, permanent water contact in pools and tanks, and water-retaining structures all require three coats to 1.5 mm DFT with AT-MESH. On the negative side of cementitious substrates cure the completed system before any exposure to water or hydrostatic pressure. On the negative side of PVC panels obtain project-specific approval from FORSPEC Technical Support before commencing. Check for a continuous, pinhole-free film over every cove, tape and mesh detail, and record AT-MESH placement and overlaps in the project quality records.

What is AT-MESH 1m x 50m used for?
CompatibilityAT-MESH (1m x 50m) is the wide-format woven scrim used for full-area membrane reinforcement and broad detailing. The 1m width covers large slab fields, balcony fields, and podium areas needing reinforcement under liquid membranes.

When is full-area reinforcement needed?
PerformanceSpecify wide-format AT-MESH when you need reinforcement across an entire deck or floor field - high-movement substrates, areas with multiple shrinkage cracks, or premium specs requiring belt-and-braces protection.

How is it laid?
InstallationRoll out across the substrate, lap edges 50-100mm, embed in the wet first coat of membrane. Use a silicon pressure roller across the full surface to expel air and fully wet out the scrim. Apply the second membrane coat over the top.

Compatible with which membranes?
CompatibilityCompatible with the full Forspec liquid membrane range. The wide format is most commonly used with high-build PU membranes (929 HV/SL, 925) and cementitious membranes (988, 989 CWP) on commercial decks.
