Instruction Manual

Step 1 - Surface Preparation

Clean the surface thoroughly – Ensure tiles, concrete, or other substrates are free from dirt, grease, and contaminants. Recommended cleaning method:Use sugar soap or an acid wash, then rinse with high-pressure water. Remove all existing silicone, loose grout, and loose tiles, bricks, or other unstable materials. Allow the substrate to dry completely. Drying period: At least 3 days in direct sunlight with no rain or moisture exposure.

Step 2 - Repairs & Sealing

Re-grout all joints using new grout or epoxy grout. Alternatively, Soudal Trex Sealant can be used instead if grout is not intact and loose. Apply Soudal Trex Sealant to: All corner junctions Any floor fixing points

Step 3 - Mixing ACTFLEX 400 CLEAR

Dilution: Mix 50% water with the purchased  ACTFLEX 400 CLEAR. Example: If you have 3 kg, mix with 1.5 L of  water. Mixing Process: Use an electric mixer at slow speed. Mix for at least 2 minutes until fully blended.

Step 4 - Application

Apply the first coat using: A 4-6mm nap roller for large areas. A brush for corners and detailed sections. Keep the coat thin – No more than 150 microns DFT (Dry Film Thickness). Allow at least 4 hours to dry before applying the next coat. Apply two additional coats using the same method. Total coats: Three Drying time between coats: 4 hours minimum Ensure no rain or moisture between coats and do not leave the coat exposed for more than 48 hours before applying the next layer.

Step 5 - Curing

Allow the coating to dry for 3-5 days with no rain or moisture exposure. Water exposure during curing is critical: No standing water should be present during the curing period. If water ponds on the surface, ACTFLEX 400 may turn cloudy or change color. Once the water evaporates, the coating will return to a clear finish.
