FORSPEC Practical Waterproofing Training – May 12, 2026

Learn hands-on application of compliant waterproofing systems used in real job site conditions.

This one-day training is designed to walk installers, builders, and contractors through the correct methods of preparing, detailing, and applying waterproofing systems using FORSPEC products. The focus is on achieving compliance with NCC 2022, AS 3740, and AS 4654.2.

What You’ll Learn

Participants will be guided through:

• Substrate preparation requirements for different surfaces
• Membrane selection (polyurethane vs cementitious systems)
• Correct application techniques for consistent coverage
• Detailing methods for junctions, penetrations, and terminations
• System sequencing from substrate through to finished surface
• Identification of common failure points and how to avoid them

Systems Covered

Training includes hands-on application of:

• ACTFLEX 906 WPU – water-based polyurethane membrane
• ACTFLEX 989 CWP – Class III cementitious waterproofing membrane

These systems are commonly used across internal wet areas and general waterproofing applications where compliance and durability are required.
