Technical overview
Key applications
- Rooftops
- Podiums
- Walkways
- Pedestrian trafficable environments
- Exposed environments requiring UV resistance
- Areas requiring anti-slip performance and abrasion resistance
- Under DTA BOSS tiling pedestals (paver pads) on the cured membrane
Surface suitability
- Concrete (new concrete cured a minimum of 28 days, prepared and primed)
- Render (new render cured a minimum of 7 days, prepared and primed)
- Screed (new screed cured a minimum of 7 days, prepared and primed)
- Masonry (primed with a minimum two coats of ARDEX WPM 300 where moisture content exceeds 80% relative humidity)
Designed for light to medium pedestrian traffic only. Not suited for vehicle or heavy equipment type traffic. Do not apply if ambient or substrate temperature is below 10C or above 35C. Do not add solvent or water to the product. Do not apply if rain is imminent. New concrete must be cured a minimum of 28 days and new render or screed a minimum of 7 days before application commences. Where masonry or concrete substrate moisture content is greater than 80% relative humidity (ASTM F2170) or exceeds 15g/m2/24hrs (ASTM F1869), a minimum two coats of ARDEX WPM 300 (HydrEpoxy) must be the nominated primer. This is a hazardous chemical: it may cause cancer, is suspected of causing genetic defects, may cause an allergic skin reaction and causes serious eye irritation. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection and face protection, and ensure adequate ventilation.
