Product details
The ActNow 100mm Rubber Puddle Flange is an Australian design initiative (Des. Reg. No. 201814766) made from durable neoprene flexible rubber. It creates a secure, watertight connection between PVC drainage outlets and waterproofing membranes on concrete substrates, for both internal and external wet areas. Backed by a lifetime warranty and CodeMark Australia certified under CM40377.
Installation
Clean and prep the 100mm riser, then seat the rubber flange squarely on the outlet. Seal the junction, and bond the waterproofing membrane onto the flat rubber collar. The flexible body suits risers that are slightly out of square, and there is no rigid lip to crack once the screed goes on.
Flood testing
The flood test version has the bottom blocked off from the factory, so you can fill the area and hold a test without a balloon or plug. When the test is done, a small incision in the base releases the water and the flange remains as the permanent detail. On the standard flange, use a flood test balloon instead.
Shipping and returns
Dispatched same or next business day from Roselands NSW, with fast delivery Australia wide. Boxes of 100 ship on their own consignment. 7-day returns on unused stock in original packaging.

Actnow 100mm Rubber Puddle Flange

CodeMark certified, the evidence a certifier has to accept

CM40377 is a Certificate of Conformity from CMI Australia, issued after independent testing against the Australian standards. It is the strongest compliance evidence available for a building product, and it travels with every flange you install.

Actnow 100mm Rubber Puddle Flange

Backed by a lifetime warranty

A $12 part sits under a bathroom for the life of the building. Actnow warrants it for that long, which tells you what they think of the rubber, and takes the cheapest possible failure point off your risk list.

Neoprene rubber, not rigid plastic

The flexible rubber body forgives an out-of-square riser and moves with the slab instead of fighting it. Membrane bonds cleanly to the flat rubber collar, and there is no rigid lip to crack under screed.

Actnow 100mm Rubber Flood Test Puddle Flange

Flood test without a balloon

The test version comes with the bottom blocked off from the factory. Fill the area, hold the test, then make a small incision to release the water. No balloon, no plug, no extra hire.

Built for concrete, inside and out

Designed specifically for 100mm drainage outlets and floor wastes in concrete substrates, and certified for both internal and external wet areas. Australian designed, Design Registration 201814766.

Standard or flood test?

Same rubber, same certification, same install. The only difference is what happens at the bottom of the flange.

Standard$12.00

Flood testing with the test flange

Four steps, no extra equipment, no hiring a plug.

1

Fit the flange

Seat the test flange on the 100mm outlet and bond the membrane to the rubber collar as normal.

2

Fill the area

The blocked bottom holds the water, no balloon, no plug, nothing to hire or inflate.

3

Hold and inspect

Leave the test to stand and check the area below for any sign of water tracking through.

4

Cut to drain

A small incision in the blocked base releases the water, and the flange stays in as the permanent detail.

Certified, and backed for life

CodeMark is the highest level of product certification in the Australian building system. It gives a certifier evidence of compliance they have to accept, which is exactly what you want when a waterproofing detail gets questioned.

Common questions

  • What is the difference between the standard and flood test flange?

They are the same rubber flange with the same certification and the same install. The flood test version has the bottom blocked off from the factory so it holds water for a flood test without a balloon. Once the test passes, you cut a small incision in the base to drain it and the flange stays in permanently.

  • Do I still need a flood test balloon?

Not with the flood test flange, that is the point of it. With the standard flange you will need a balloon or plug to hold water for the test. Plenty of trade customers keep balloons on hand anyway for other outlets and pipe sizes on the same job.

  • What does CodeMark certification actually mean?

CodeMark is the highest level of product certification in the Australian building system. CM40377 is a Certificate of Conformity issued by CMI Australia after independent testing, and it gives a certifier evidence of compliance they are required to accept. It is worth having on record if a waterproofing detail is ever questioned.

  • Why rubber instead of rigid plastic?

The neoprene body flexes, so it forgives a riser that is slightly out of square and moves with the slab rather than fighting it. There is no rigid lip to crack under screed, and the membrane bonds cleanly to the flat rubber collar.

  • Can I use it externally?

Yes. It is certified for both internal and external wet areas on concrete substrates, in residential and commercial work.

  • What is covered by the lifetime warranty?

The flange is warranted for the life of the installation rather than a fixed term. Keep your receipt and the CodeMark certificate on file with the job documentation.

  • How many come in a box?

Both versions ship 100 per box. Pricing is shown live in the buy box above, so it always reflects any promotion running at the time.

  • Does it suit substrates other than concrete?

It is designed and certified specifically for concrete substrates. For FC sheeting and timber floors, talk to us on (02) 8021 3517 about the right detail for your build-up.
