DO NOT PRESSURE WASH. Water surrounding grass and shrubs well before starting. Do not mix with any alkali or hypochlorite product, as violent foaming and release of chlorine will occur. Frequently asked questions
-
What is SWP E-RID used for?
CompatibilitySWP E-RID dissolves and removes efflorescence - the white salt deposits that appear on concrete, brick, block, and render surfaces. The product penetrates the surface, liquifies the salts, and brings them to the surface for wash-off.
-
How is it different from acid washing?
PerformanceE-RID is solvent-free, non-flammable, non-carcinogenic, and biodegradable - safer than traditional acid washes while still effective at salt removal. Less risk to operators, surrounding materials, and adjacent surfaces.
-
How is it applied?
InstallationBrush apply onto the affected area (use the Drizoro 150mm brush). Leave for a minimum of 20 minutes to react with the salts, then reapply if heavily efflorescent and wash off with clean water.
-
Which substrates is it safe on?
CompatibilitySafe on concrete, brick, block, render, stucco, and most masonry. Test on a small area first if the substrate is delicate or has a sensitive finish. Avoid contact with polished metals and glass.
-
Safety precautions?
ComplianceE-RID is corrosive (acidic chemistry). Wear gloves, eye protection, and acid-resistant clothing during application. Wash any skin contact immediately. Refer to the supplied SDS for full safety procedures.
Why trade professionals choose Drizoro
Drizoro is a Spanish manufacturer of cement based waterproofing and concrete repair products, supplied to the Australian trade through The Waterproofing Shop. The range on this site covers Maxseal Foundation and Maxseal Flex, along with repair mortars, grouts, joint products and mesh, used on concrete and masonry where water has to be held back rather than simply shed. Choosing between the rigid and the flexible grade is the key decision, and it comes down to the substrate, the direction of the water and how much movement the structure is likely to see.
